Bolder Pathway School offers STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Week twice a year. During the week, students are broken up into groups that span across all grade levels. Together, these groups choose one of three projects to solve. At the end of the week, they present their problem, as well as their solution, to the school and families.
During the week, teachers work closely with each group. This week offers a great opportunity for the kids to practice valuable skills such as teamwork, problem solving, brainstorming, planning, strategizing, organization and creative thinking. They also utilize academic-area skills in a practical application setting, giving real meaning and connectivity to their education.
